Prior to 10 February 2020, documents relating to Absa Bank Kenya PLC were published under the name Barclays Bank of Kenya Limited.
Absa Bank Kenya, a subsidiary of Absa Group Limited, is one of the top banks in Kenya. Our business units include Retail, Corporate, Treasury and Card Services with cross functional relationships to support the segments of local business and small to mid-sized enterprises (SME).
Our financial strength, coupled with extensive local and international resources, have positioned the bank as the top provider of financial services in the market for over a century. Moreover, our consistent financial performance has built confidence in our leadership and management among our bank’s shareholders, as well as the industry overall.
We have operated in Kenya for over 100 years, and currently have an extensive network of 84 branches and over 210 ATMs countrywide. Our network is supported by internet and mobile banking channels plus a customer service centre that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
