The Board of Directors of Absa Bank Kenya PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Anne Nyongesa as the Company Secretary of Absa Kenya with effect from 28 February 2025.
Ms. Nyongesa is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with seventeen (17) years of post-admission experience and is also a Certified Public Secretary (Kenya). Additionally, she holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) Degree from the University of South Africa, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree from the University of Nairobi and other qualifications. She is a member of the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS) and a holder of a practicing certificate as company secretary issued under the Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya Act (Chapter 534, Laws of Kenya).
Prior to joining Absa Kenya, Ms. Nyongesa held various legal, governance and company secretary positions in the financial services sector and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in governance and company secretarial matters to Absa Kenya.
