The Board of Directors of Absa Bank Kenya PLC (“Absa Kenya”) announces the retirement of Ms. Patricia Ithau as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Absa Kenya effective 31 March 2025, having served her full nine-year term.
Since joining the Board in 2016, Patricia has been a passionate and dedicated leader, offering valuable insights and expertise that have strengthened the Bank’s governance and strategic direction as it navigates a complex and dynamic operating environment.
As part of her role on the Board, she ably chaired the Corporate Governance, Nominations and Remuneration Committee and served as a valuable member of the Audit and Risk Committee.
